Driver/Candidate Minimum Requirements
Unless otherwise accepted by Continental Transport, Inc. management, and agreed to by the Insurance Provider. All truck driver candidates will meet the following requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a valid Class “A” Commercial Drivers License (C.D.L.).
- Must pass D.O.T. physical or possess a valid D.O.T card.
- Must be able to pass D.O.T. drug screen.
- Must not have any recent felony convictions.
- Will have no more than three (3) moving traffic violations in the last three (3) years.
- Will have no suspensions of driving privileges within the past five (5) years.
- Will have no more than two (2) at fault preventable accidents within the past three (3) years.
- Will have no substance or alcohol related traffic convictions while driving either on or off duty within the last five (5) years.
- Must be able to present yourself in a professional manner.
